I lost my brother 21 years ago and didn't have the option of McGuinness Funeral Home in Sewell. My father passed in 2015 and he was also a U.S. Veteran, let me tell you how professional and classy the whole process went, from the phone call to the funeral home from the hospital, to the memorial presentation, to the hearse for veterans named "Old Glory", everyone that works for McGuinness was phenomenal, especially the funeral director and the young lady that brought my father from the hospital to the funeral home. I couldn't be more pleased with McGuinness Funeral home during such a sad and difficult time for our family.
My friends recently lost their mother and I was so happy they chose McGuinness and so were they, McGuinness gets a an A+ , I'm still so pleased with how they handled my Father's services.
We and many of my friends had used Egizi Funeral Home over the years and I would give Egizi a major thumbs down as they are very pushy, uncaring, and rude as well as the parlor itself smells musty and of cigarettes, and the parking situation is always a fiasco.
I recently attended McGuinness' Patriotic Prayer Service on September 10. It was such an uplifting event, with prayers being lifted up for all the states, all the levels of governments, and all the people that live in the USA. We sang beautiful patriotic songs and I came away feeling much better about the state of our nation. On September 11, McGuinness once again set the bar high with their outstanding flag display to honor the victims of 9/11. You can tell the folks at McGuinness care about their community and take pride in what they do. Keep up the great work!
