I've been coming here since I was 6 years old, and I absolutely love it. We come fishing out on the dock almost every summer. The wildlife is lovely. There are sunfish, trout, turtles, heron, dragonflies, and so much more! Absolutely breathtaking. Perfect for families and small children!
Love to bring the boys hiking, to the playground and sledding in the winter! The park is always clean and feels very safe!
BEAUTIFUL park great for hiking, walks, picnicking or just hanging out. Great for groups of various sizes and Families.
I was really happy with how well the trails are labelled here. It was also nice to find a trail that had greater difficulty than just a flat trail. There were lots of rocks to scramble over near the water and large changes of elevation. Great for a nice hike. The surrounding area was also very clean and well kept.
This is a nice park, the trails could be marked better but it's hard to get too lost. There's a geocache close to the stream that was too easy to find for all the litter on the ground next to it (which we collected). Dogs must also be kept on a leash but some locals don't seem to adhere to this so we spent half our afternoon returning a sweet lost pup. Leash your dogs please!!
