My car broke down on 42 South right by Greentree Rd and I push it off on grass between lines ,not blocking the street ,safe ,area lit up ,right by traffic pole - just to be sure I called Washington twp finest to let them know I will pick it up tomorrow- Thanksgiving morning (I was on my way to work - night shift 10.30pm) and they said it's ok - could not believe they called back 2am and said I have 1 hr to remove it or they will tow it (they setup DUI checkpoint right by la fitness ..) probably bored to death on this slow night ,but ! I managed to get a tow and save couple hundred at least ,thanks NOT for protecting and serving
Want to send out a big "Thank You" to the Washington Twp. Police Dept. for the great job they did last night at the National Night Out. The turn out was excellent and the staff cooking all of those hamburgers and hot dogs in the heat was over the top. We enjoyed the K9 demonstration and all of the fine businesses that participated in this worthy event. We will be sure to support them in the future.
Called them twice and no one ever showed up.
