I was working in the city last week a mile away from the store and since my wife used to work there more than 20 years ago it still holds a special place in my memory of the good and bad things she would talk about when she got home. Since her passing I had only been in the store one other time but saw no one there that I remembered being there at the same time she was. This time however I did recognize one woman but did not get a chance to say hello as she was quite busy dealing with other customers in a very pleasant manner. As for the store it was clean and well stocked with at least what I was looking for, the aisles were not all cluttered with pallets and stuff and the few employees I did have some interactions with were very helpful. As for coming back to the store I will only do it if a similar situation presents itself since I have 3 other Acmes closer to home that are not in the city and that I know a lot of the cashiers. The only thing I might consider complaining about is a problem I see with most Acmes and that is that they have gotten rid of the selfish checkout lines unless I just missed seeing them.
The supermarket is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a decent salad bar for salad lovers.
